Guess what? I finally got around to doing it!
This is my investigation sheet.
This is my development sheet (we were to take ideas from the investigation sheet and collaborate them into a new image)
And here's the final piece.
And just some close ups.
(Coloured Pencil)
(Watercolour)
(Poster(?) Paint)
They are really nice Sam!!
ReplyDeleteYou are very talented, not only writing but with your painting as well..
I'm so jealous :D I wish I was good at something!!
Great job!
and you were right...
You do look more handsome with your short hair!! I like this look better!!!:D
:D
Nicely done. The towers in the background set up the drawing very very well. They look real, and her dress and coloring are close to unreal -- wonderful contrast. The teapot is the most solid object in the piece which is even more interesting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandy!
ReplyDeleteAnd you are good at stuff... your writing is brilliant and your sim pictures and editing are really good as well!
lol thanks Sandy!
It was only long in the first place because I couldn't afford to get it cut!
And thanks S.B. that was a really nice comment. hopefully you'll stick around ;)
ReplyDeleteI loved doing her dress, do you know how many hours I spent on just the sleeve?! A lot!
I'll post some better pictures tomorrow and you will see it (hopefully) in it's proper light. :D
Hey! That looks like fun! You've got some great talent there. I used to enjoy being creative like that too. I did a lot of sketch art. Now, I no longer have the time for it. I'm too busy, or too tired. Maybe some day...
ReplyDeleteThe teapot really catches the eye. And I really like the girl's expression. Her eyes and her mouth, the way they're set, are really cute... and she's very pretty. I love the curl in her hair.
Did you give a name to your art work? :D
Wow, Sam. I'm quite impressed! You are a very talented young man. You can write, draw, paint, and take great sims pics - is there anything you CAN'T do?
ReplyDeleteI love her dress and her pretty curls. And I love, love, LOVE the teapot! That's my favorite part. It looks so real. Like I can just reach into the picture and pull it out. Love the way the light glares off it. Nice job, Sam!
Thank you Ariana. I'm pretty sure there are some things I can't do; it's just got to the point where I'm trying to figure out what they are! ;)
ReplyDeleteI know what I couldn't do. I couldn't write a sim story with the scope of yours :D
Or Sandy's, or Leah's... of probably most of the writer's here. I can only stick to a few characters and settings. You all move all over the place and introduce many many characters.
I like her dress the best, along with the coloured pencil teapot. I love my hands too. And thanks again :D
I'm very flattered you would say that, Sam, but you're totally full of crap, lol. I think you're an awesome writer. You dig very deeply inside your characters' souls and teach us to know them like you do. I don't do that. Mine are much more superficial. And I don't have that many characters in my stories at all. Not main ones, anyway.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to more. :)
Yes, but the scope of your stories, while not having as many characters as others do, is just huge! The amount you have to download and the actual goings on in your stories are a lot more than what is in mine - apart from sims, mine is mostly Maxis.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for the compliments - they mean a lot.
Nice work, Sam.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't even draw like that if my life depending upon it.
The teapot is my favourite. Can't explain why, but it just is. :)
Thanks for stopping by Leah.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need to explain, the teapot was the object I drew the most. I could probably draw teapots over and over now without needing one in front of me - it has been committed to memory, mind and hand! rofl
